Introduction

LEE Chi Shing is a lecturer in the Gender Studies Programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he also earned his doctoral degree in Cultural Studies. His research focuses primarily on Hong Kong, encompassing a wide range of issues related to the cultural politics of gender from activist organizing to mainstream cultural productions such as Hong Kong cinema. He is particularly interested in how gender serves as an analytic lens to test and contest political and cultural discourses.
