Abstract:
The International Conference on “Gender and (Im)mobility in Uncertain Times”, supported by WUN and co-organized by the D&I office and Gender Studies Programme, will take place during March 11-12 2021 at CUHK via Zoom. This conference will address issues of workplace dynamics, family relations, gender norms, and social inequalities. This is the second international conference developed by the WUN research group on issues of gender and mobility/ immobility, which have been greatly reshaped under the pandemic. Speakers from CUHK, Fudan University, National Cheng Kung University, Shanghai University, SUNY-Albany, The University of British Columbia, The University of Hong Kong, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Sussex, University of York, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and Zhejiang University will discuss issues of gender equality, diversity and inclusion with timely research in uncertain times.
