Speaker’s Biography:

Prof. Yiu-tung SUEN obtained his D.Phil. in Sociology from the University of Oxford where he was a 4-year fully funded Swire Scholar at St. Antony’s College. He read his Msc Sociology also at the University of Oxford at St. Hugh’s College with China Oxford Scholarship.

Currently, he is Associate Professor of the Gender Studies Programme, Associate Director of the Gender Research Centre, and Founding Director of the Sexualities Research Programme, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
